As our customers and suppliers continue to assess the challenges posed by the evolving spread of COVID-19, our team at Tradin Organic would like to express our solidarity with all of those impacted and share an update regarding the business continuity initiatives we have adopted internally:
Tradin Organic Staffing & Customer Service – in an effort to promote social distancing, the majority of our team is operating on a remote basis. We do not anticipate any disruptions in day-to-day business functionality and the staff is well equipped to continue fully supporting the company’s operational demands.
Inventories and Safety Stocks – Tradin Organic continues to maintain a robust supply of our core items with inventories in multiple warehouses – these distribution centers are currently maintaining both normal staffing levels and traditional hours of operation.
Freight Operations – in some specific regions and within certain inland / ocean shipping lanes, there are some capacity constraints and delays in the movement of cargo – our logistics team will continue to monitor this situation and work proactively to mitigate the impact of any potential issues.
Global Supply Partners – our sourcing team continues to stay in close contact with our production partners – each of those facilities maintains robust procedures regarding hygiene for their employees and simultaneously enforces health screening protocols and plant level processing disciplines (please note that, according to the CDC and FDA, COVID-19 is not considered a foodborne pathogen).
Though we are living through rapidly evolving and dynamic circumstances, Tradin Organic’s current supply chains are continuing to function well and our team here will endeavor to ensure that COVID-19 does not adversely impact the availability of our products nor our customer service levels.
