The QA Manager Factories is leading all Quality aspects and procedures of the global Tradin Organic facilities. This concerns all topics related to HACCP / Food Safety, audits of the plants, Quality Issues, budgeting, GMP Program, KPI reports and advising in acquisition process of new plants. Plant QA / QHSE Managers report to the QA Manager Factories. The QA Manager Factories reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager.
 
Your job tasks, responsibilities and objectives
• Validate and verify various HACCP systems
• Carry out Risk assessments at new factories
• Create and carry out audit standards program
• Advise on various QA – and Food Safety issues
• Create and carry out a Quality investment program
• Advise on Quality related items when new factories are build / installed
• Provide accurate QA data for several purposes
• Advise on QA systems and databases
• Evaluate and train QA Managers at the global plants
• Create and evaluate Plant KPI reports
• Follow up and advise on improvement GMP Programs.
 
For this challenging role you are required to have
• Minimal Bachelor degree in Food Science
• A minimum of 5 years experience as QA Manager in the food (processing) industry
• Experience with Food Safety / HACCP, plant audits and GMP/hygiene
• Experience with organic raw materials is a big plus
• Leadership skills, experience in a managerial position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
• Hands-on mentality, self starting, getting things done under pressure, able to make both fast and thought-out decisions
• Firm personality that can cope with our business dynamics and is persistent in internal and external discussions
• Analytical skills, commercial awareness and customer focused
• Computer literacy (MS Office and ERP systems); knowledge of MS Dynamics AX is a plus
• Ability to travel 25% of your time
