The Organic Land Corporation (OLC) is our (organic) sunflower project in the Silistra region in Bulgaria. This operation is carrying out the hulling of Sunflower seeds (producing top quality Sunflower kernels), and will soon start refining Sunflower oil, to produce some of the highest quality (organic) cold pressed sunflower crude oil.
This high-tech investment has been very successful by offering new opportunities to young people to utilize and develop new skills and talents. At the same time the products made from the high quality sunflower kernels have upgraded the whole region’s image.
With an initial team of 51 co-workers and an average age of 27, the OLC has become one of the biggest, most progressive and colorful companies to work for in the Silistra region. The management is composed of native Bulgarians, all of which have had international experience and speak fluent English. This way they are able to share their experiences and knowledge with locals and internationals.
The project has taken a constructive position in the region adding an atmosphere of progress and development. The success of this project has inspired locals and attracted other potential investors to the region. |
