PRESS RELEASES Press release TOC SunOpta Acquires Tradin Organic Agriculture of Amsterdam To All Customers and Providers of Tradin Organic Agriculture B.V., Trabocca B.V., OTC-Holland B.V., Internamtrade B.V., Tradin Organics USA and HB Winged-Ox (Dalian, China) Dear Customers, Product and Service Providers, Dear Friends, We are most pleased to inform you that SunOpta Inc., also in our name, announced publicly that it has reached an agreement with our company, The Organic Corporation B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands (TOC), to acquire the outstanding shares of TOC. As you are likely aware, TOC is the mother company of Tradin Organic Agriculture B.V., Trabocca B.V., OTC-Holland B.V. and Internamtrade B.V. The transaction is subject to completion of final detailed due diligence and definitive agreements and is expected to close within 60 days. Please find attached the official announcement as sent by SunOpta. As management and owners of TOC we are very delighted to become part of the SunOpta Group of companies. SunOpta is an important and fast growing international player in the field of organic commodities and we are convinced that joining them will be beneficial to our customers, our product and service providers, our personnel and all other parties that are directly or indirectly linked to the well being of our Company.
