TRADIN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE B.V. BECOMES OWNER OF HOLLAND BUSINESS WINGED-OX ORGANIC FOOD CO. LTD.

Tradin Organic Agriculture B.V. (Tradin), based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is worldwide one of the leading im- exporters of organic raw material. Tradin has several specialized sister companies in The Netherlands, like Trabocca B.V. (specialised in organic and fair trade coffee and several organic spices) and OTC-Holland B.V. (specialised in organic fresh fruit and vegetables). Sales are directly managed out of The Netherlands, in addition daughter companies in the USA, Germany, France and Austria give sales support. Tradin manages organic projects in different countries, in which organic products are grown and processed. Tradin also owns several sourcing and processing daughter companies, like the one in Dalian, China, “Holland Business Winged-Ox Organic Food Co., Ltd” (HB Winged-Ox).

HB Winged-Ox is active since 2000 in growing and processing of many different organic raw materials, like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seed, soy beans, animal feed (soy based), buckwheat, millet, pulses, peanuts, berries, etc. Its headquarters and factories can mainly be found in Dalian, but the growing of products takes place in several regions in China. The products are sold throughout the whole world and mainly to the food manufacturers, bakery industry, distributors and food packers.

Tradin decided to take over the remaining 35% of her Joint Venture, thus becoming a 100% shareholder of HB Winged-Ox.

The Chinese activities are of prime strategic importance to Tradin, and being sole owner Tradin can maintain and strengthen her position as market leader. Tradin is now also in the position to further increase her local quality control systems, not only by strengthening the implemented HACCP systems, but also by further investing in the agricultural side of the business. By shortening the communication lines and by simplifying decision making Tradin can increase her overall performance. The continuity and further growth of her Chinese activities is thus guaranteed.
